Verias is a super strong gorilla type Bakugan who loves cold weather. He has a loud chilling battle cry that renders his opponents defenseless in fear many times as he swoops in for the attack on his staff which he uses as a pole vault to leap great distances. He's also an incredible climber that can scale tall buildings and trees with ease. His fur is thick so he is impervious to the cold. Verias uses his staff as his primary weapon as well to shoot out beams of devastating light, as well as the purple jewel on his head.
