And The Winner Of The Bakugan Contest Strategy Is:
DaRkNeSs for his awesome Fake Roll strategy!
DaRkNeSs' Winning Strategy:
For this to work, you need 3 strong Darkus Bakugan with at least 600 G’s, Gate of doom, field of dread, mudslide nexus, powder keg, clean slate, and Doom Card.
Start the game. Keep missing the gate cards until your opponent has all of their bakugan on a gate. ( now even out your used pile. When you miss a gate, your bakugan goes to the used pile until all of your bakugan are in the used pile. When this happens, you may bring all of your bakugan back.) Now use Doom Card and Clean Slate. Doom card makes you take all of the bakugan in either side that loses and remove them from play. Clean Slate makes you move all bakugan on a gate to the used pile. Now because of Doom card, they are removed from play instead. Now you must roll a darkus bakugan for his to work. Now your opponent has no bakugan to use. You win by default. If your opponent demands one battle in the brawl then roll onto your card and use powder keg. Your bakugan should be really pumped up and ready to fight so you will win the only battle.
Competition! Strategy! Scandal...
Well, it was a tight race folks, this strategy won by one vote over Francisco's strategy. August 12th, 2009 at 5:34 pm
Congrats! But, unfortunately, after reading through the strategy, I found that it does not work. If you want to see why, I made a comment on the vote for strategies page.
August 13th, 2009 at 9:26 am
Yeah it does. You ca play the doom card at any time throughout the brawl. Also, players can place down gate cards any time they want. Try proving that wrong bob.
August 14th, 2009 at 4:41 pm
Well DaRkNeSs, that is almost exatly how I play, but if you read through the official rulebook, it wouldn’t work. It is very usable, just not in a tournament
. But in my opinion, the official rules SUCK.
August 14th, 2009 at 7:41 pm
i agree, bob! tournament rules suck.

Well, if you’re not playing by the rules, then you’re not really playing Bakugan, are you? XD
Might be a good strategy if you’re playing at home with your friend, and they don’t get to read your Doom Card ability card’s text (which also offers a 30G Darkus attribute bonus, something that can only be figured in during a battle between two bakugan on a gate card. Speaking of “battle”, on all the other ability cards that use this term, it means when two opposing bakugan land on a gate card. Why should it be different just for the Doom Card?) and they didn’t already understand that sending a bakugan to the used pile by any method other than defeating them in a battle does not remove them from the game under the Doom Card.
You can’t play the Doom Card if you never get a bakugan to stand, and under official rules, your opponent would automatically win one of the gate cards on the field if they get all three of their bakugan to stand.
September 12th, 2009 at 10:53 am
Well, you can technically do this with the real rules. You would do the strategy as you normally would and if you opponent takes your gate card by rolling two of thier bakugan onto it then fine. They will have to place another gate card down though because if you have two of your own bakugan on your gate card, then you are supposed to move both of them into your unsed pile but leave the gate card there. So, they will have to place their gate cards down opr you will end up going on forever. And for the plus 30g’s, then you can designate one of you darkus bakugan with it so it will add 30 g’s to it’s base power. And the point of the doom card is to use it with clean slate to clear the field but it is critical that you stand your darkus bakugan or your opponent can just put there bakugan in there used pile and you will have to use doom card another time which will in fact ruin the whole plan because you can no longer use clean slate.
Now, if any other people want to find a flaw with my strategy, then just make up a good strategy or use one on this website (besides mine) and we can brawl. I just got new bakugan and cards so now I can do pretty much any strategy. Now nobody else should try to prove me wrong or I will challenge you to a brawl, defeat your bakugan by more than 500 g’s and I will take your bakugan. (Not really.) But I will still beat you and you will lose horribly.

According to the rules, gate cards aren’t replaced on the field until all the gate cards are taken from the field, meaning that after one card is taken by any method, there’s still one left, and if your opponent had managed to take the first card by getting all of his bakugan to stand before you, you still have that one bakugan standing by itself on the remaining card to contend with. (Remember that if they get two of their own bakugan to stand on a card, and if they do not have any bakugan standing on the other card, they have to move the last rolled bakugan onto that card.) They don’t move all of their bakugan to the used pile if they win a card this way; just the two that they stood on the card. The third bakugan by itself on the other gate card stays there until something happens to remove it from the card. As for whether or not it’s your own gate card or your opponent’s card that has two of three standing bakugan on it, it doesn’t matter; you still win that card.
Clean Slate is played before you roll. Whether or not you get your bakugan to stand when you roll, though, there has to be a battle for you to be able to play the Doom Card (it says right there on the card: “Play at the start of a battle”). That means that you and your opponent both have to have a bakugan standing on the same gate card, as normal for any battle. The Doom Card is only used to put a bakugan defeated in a battle out of the game; it doesn’t lock out bakugan that are already sitting in the used pile, however they got there. Bakugan that are moved to the used pile through Clean Slate are not “defeated”; they need to be the loser in a battle in order to be called “defeated”.
The flaw here is that the manner in which you are playing the key cards in your strategy is not how the printed text on the cards says that they should be played.

You know what, I am sick and tired of people trying to prove me wrong. It depends on how people interpret the phrase “battle”. Plus it all come down to timing so it may become diificult but if you master it, it can help you with any brawl. NOW SHUT UP AND LEAVE ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
October 10th, 2009 at 12:35 am
I sincerely doubt that the people at SpinMaster designed this game to where a person could win entire matches without actually playing. There’s nothing difficult about misinterpreting card text in order to cheat, outside of persuading your opponent to believe that a card like Doom Card is played just like Counter Trap Alpha (the latter of which says to “Play at the beginning of the game”, which clearly defines what a “game” is compared to a “battle”).
There’s nothing to “prove”; the whole thing *is* wrong. I have no idea how it even won, unless everyone who voted for it was like “hurr hurr, a strategy that guarantees a win and doesn’t involve having to brawl at all, this is the best strategy evar!!!!~1`1`” and voted it up without even researching the cards to see if they really do what you claim they do.

SHUT UP DISCO!!!!!!!!!! YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not sure what happened either because I was too preoccupied by Neo Pina when he stole my strategy and your probably right. People probably thought that but the damn contest is over so just drop it. And I was checking other strategies too and checking the cards and most of them didn’t work and people were just typing “This will give you a ton of G’s” or something like that. “450+600+950=67156416″ or something and it didn’t make sense. I didn’t expect this strategy to win anyway. I thought my other one would win. Here is the strategy:
6v6 Bakugan Strategy – DaRkNeSs
This strategy is for Big Brawl (6 on 6). You need a Baliton trap, a strong aquos and Haos, and your weakest bakugan. Gate Cards: Wind Swept Caverns, Duck and win, Mudslide Nexus, El Condor Character Card, Light Burst, and Light Portal. Ability Cards: Fire Shutdown, Blue-Green Combine, Baliton, Call of the Hex, and 2 blue ability cards that power up Haos and Aquos. The Baliton trap must match your weakest bakugan.
Walkthrough: Start with El Condor card and roll you aquos onto it. Put down Light Portal and roll your Haos onto it. Now, when you are on your opponents gate, use a blue ability on your bakugan when your opponent opens his gate. Then use double ability Blue-Green Combine and Fire Shutdown. This will turn your opponent’s bakugan to Pyrus and boost your bakugan by 200 G’s. (If you are facing a pyrus already, then just play Fire Shutdown.) Now battle on opponent’s gate again but use your weakest bakugan and set down Baliton. Lose this battle on purpose so you can activate your baliton card. This will bring back your blue ability card and your Fire Shutdown card. After you lose that battle, put down your Wind Swept Caverns gate and activate your Call of the Hex card. This will bring back your trap. Now roll your weakest bakugan onto the gate. When your opponent battles with you on this card, open it and bring back Fire Shutdown to use on your opponent once again. You could bring back your Baliton card but you would lose another brawl if you use it to bring back Fire Shutdown.. Battle on your opponents gate and use Fire Shutdown with Blue-Green Combine. Now put down Duck and win and roll your weakest bakugan onto it. Use Blue-Green Combine to turn your opponent to darkus. Put down Light Burst and roll your Haos onto it. Use Blue-Green Combine to turn your opponent to aquos or pyrus. If for some reason you only have 5 gate cards in your used pile, put down your last gate card and use Blue-Green Combine to change your opponent to pyrus. You should have won before your opponent unless you messed up. Practice this strategy and you should learn to adapt to your situation.

Well, I guess when you can’t hold back on admitting your obvious flaws any longer, and you’re not one humble enough to apologize, you eventually do resort to telling the other person to “shut up” and telling them that they “suck”, although nothing sucks more than a stuck-up cheater.
So much for this remaining a civil discussion.
October 11th, 2009 at 1:27 pm
I don’t have anything to apologize for. I told you to shut up and you suck because you are so damn annoying. If you would stop acting like a know-it-all, then this would have remained a civil discussion. I am not a cheater. I hate it when people cheat and I have never even used this strategy. I just put it up but about 2 days after I submitted it, I found all of my flaws. And besides, I did admit my flaws in my last post, you little butt-sniffing liar.(A quote from the Sandlot.) Now I am getting sick and tired of everybody trying to prove me wrong. It’s not just you, so I’m sorry that we got off on the wrong foot but can you just stop trying to prove me wrong?!? The contest is already over and I can’t exactly send the meta altair back because it broke. I don’t think the runner up would like a broken Meta Altair. The instructions that it came with told me to turn wired’s wings upside down and when I did they broke off. Now the next person who HARASSES ME about his damn strategy, I am going to report to the admin. Just to give all of you a warning.

Sticks and stones…
October 12th, 2009 at 11:10 am
I suck at bakugan so I try to make others look bad so it seems like I am awesome at bakugan! Just thought I should let you know, DaRkNeSs.
October 12th, 2009 at 11:22 am
You think your all that because you found one little flaw in my strategy. Well guess what, so did many other people. What do you mean by “Sticks and stones…”???
October 12th, 2009 at 11:28 am
You know what I think, I think that Disco actually sucks at bakugan and he just tries to make others look bad so it makes him look awesome by comparison.
October 12th, 2009 at 11:29 am
I agree, BakuganAddict.
October 12th, 2009 at 11:31 am
Hey, what happened to BakuganAddict’s coment????? It had a little message next to it saying “Waiting moderation” and when I commented on his comment, it dissappeared. Where did it go? I am so confused.
October 12th, 2009 at 3:21 pm
Great, the comment is back. But seriously, what Happened??? I saw, commented, then it was gone. Then when I come back a few hours later, it’s back! This website has a few annoying glitches.
February 26th, 2010 at 2:50 pm
darkness you are rude , and your stratagies are no good for other brawlers , your only thinking of one attribute , i vary my team i have limulus and spin draognoid in pyrus and darkus percival , and i spend ages thinking about how i could block my opponents attack , while using my cards to balance out the attributes , meaning all high bonuses for each of my bakugan , ive never lost a battle before because of my care full thinking for all attributes , however yours will lose many battles , i have tried it myself , and my stratagies always won over yours
February 26th, 2010 at 2:51 pm
oh and darkness , you see it show up but thats only you who sees it , when you leave the post goes to the mods to be approved and will only show up again once the mods have approved it
February 26th, 2010 at 2:52 pm
i dont think the rules “suck” , they are how you really play bakugan , if you do not use the rules advised you are not a true brawler
August 6th, 2010 at 6:02 pm
I actually like to use multiple attributes also, but I thought of that one and posted it. I didn’t expect it to win. Also, I only said that TOURNAMENT RULES suck. I meant that I like playing with my friends at home better. Not so I can cheat or anything. It’s because there is so much pressure in tournaments. Whebn you play at home, it’s just for fun. If there’s a disagreement, we check the rules. I apologize for being rude. It was just that I was getting kinda angry with all of the people who call me names like “cheater” or just try to prove me wrong. It gets annoying after the 20th time.
August 6th, 2010 at 6:02 pm
Sorry, whebn should be when.
August 6th, 2010 at 6:54 pm
Here is a strategy I have made a while ago but I never posted it. (I made this after the contest and with New Vestroia bakugan.)
Dark Water Change-Up
You need:
Aquos Elico atleast 600G’s (mine has 680G’s)
Any Darkus Percival (percival, midnight, alpha, cyclone, etc)
(Percival needs a high power. Mine has 720.)
Haos Translucent Mesquito atleast 600Gs (mine has 670Gs)
Bronze: Tri-color Power Gate Card
Silver: Deep Tan Gate Card
Gold: Percival Gate Card
Green: Blue-Green Combime Ability Card
Blue: Powder Keg Ability Card
Red: Elico Ability Card
Place Percival as your first gate card. Activate the Elico ability card and roll Elico onto the gate card that your opponent placed as their gate card. Your Elico ability card should allow you to roll a second bakugan onto the field.(Elico stays on the gate card) Roll Mesquito and double stand on your opponent’s gate card. Your opponent must roll onto your Percival Gate. Now roll your Percival onto your Percival gate card. During battle, activate Powder Keg to boost your Percival with 100Gs. Now your Percival should have gained 300Gs. If your Percival’s root strength was high enough, you should’ve won that gate. Now place down Tri-color Power since there shouldn’t be any more gate cards on the field. It doesn’t matter what card your opponent put down or which card they rolled onto. You should now get all of your bakugan back from the used pile. On your turn, roll any of your bakugan (whichever is the strongest) onto your Tri-colored Power. During battle, activate your Blue-Green Combine ability card to change your bakugan’s attribute to Aquos. Your bakugan should get a boost of 400Gs due to gate bonus and gate card ability. My strongest bakugan was Darkus Alpha Percival Cyclone with 720Gs. It would have gone up to 1120 and probably won. You should have won 3 gate cards by now. If you haven’t, thenKeep brawling and use Blue-Green Combine to get the highest gate bonus. You should eventually win the third gate if you have strong enough bakugan. Good Luck to all of you brawlers out there! And Have Fun Brawling!
