New Bakugan Toys and Bakugan Balls Reviewed | Bakugan Games Dojo

Well, Target gets their very own exclusive Bakugan Combo Packs, and now it looks like Walmart is getting their very own exclusive Bakugan toys pack too: Bakugan Bronze Attack Packs. Though these aren't quite as cool as combo Bakugan traps from the main characters they are some EXTREMELY powerful Bakugan with very powerful ability cards as well specially made for the Bronze Bakugan.

Included in the Bakugan Bronze Attack Packs is Storm Skyress, Preyas Diablo, Wilda, Fortress, Ravenoid, Hammer Gorem, Dragonoid, and a Neo Dragonoid! These packs are pretty cool and come with the super charged balls and ability cards. Seriously, if you want to pick up some very powerful new Bakugan for your lineup, then these packs are some of the most powerful Bakugan packs yet. Most of these Bakugan sport G powers of 600+ stock, with rare ones going even higher.

The ability cards are awesome too. Take for example the Freedom's Land card for the Bronze Subterra Bakugan in your lineup. You play it during a battle on an opponents gate card where you have a Bronze Sub Terra Bakugan. Your Bakugan gets the gate attribute bonus 1 extra time. Your Bakugan get the gate attribute bonus an additional time for each gate card in your used pile! This is an incredibly powerful card to play late in the game, and can turn everything around and clinch a win quite quickly!

Bakugan Bronze Attack Packs

In case you missed it, Target is having an exclusive release of some super special Bakugan. Called the Bakugan combat set, each package comes with 2 Bakugans and 2 special Bakugan cards. They are representing the main characters of Bakugan, and you can bet these sets will be super popular really soon. They feature the trap Bakugan and the primary Bakugan used by Mira, Marucho, Dan, Spectra, and Lync.

Mira, Marucho, and Dan just have the Bakugan and their trap (which is still cool... don't get us wrong...), but Spectra and Lync's bakugan combine together to form the Meta version of their respective Bakugans. Lync's Mechanicak Bakugan Altair of course combines with the mechanical Bakugan wired to form Meta Altair. Spectra's Bakugan Helios combines with his trap Fencer to make a Helios combination of Meta Helios!

That's right, now you can get Meta Altair and Meta Helios without having to find the two Bakugan separately! Check out these Combo Bakugan Combat Packs either at Target, or on eBay. Bakugan Elico Overview

If you have been keeping track of the Bakguan Battle Brawler New Vestroia cartoon recently, you will have seen Mylene of the Vexos unleashing her new secret weapon Bakugan: Elico! Extremely exciting, this mighty Bakugan warrior practically oozes pure strength and brute force power. He's armed to the teeth and then some with giant blades on his body and hands, similar to Tigrerra. He's also got tentacles that will shoot out and wrap around his enemies rendering them all but helpless. Elico's special ability is of course his ability to change to any attribute he wants. He's a chameleon class attribute changing Bakugan like Elfin and Dual Elfin (ok, we made that up... but what else do you call them??)

Elico is pure power and he knows it. He is so arrogant that he will even refuse to battle weaker Bakugan because they're not worth his time. He's a good compliment to the ambitious and power hungry Mylene who can never get enough of the power she wants so much. Together the two make a fearsome team, with Mylenes brains and advanced strategies and Elico's amazing abilities, even the genius Marucho and his sassy Elfin will have a hard time defeating those two!

The Mighty Maxus Dragonoid Bakugan

Well, at last it is here! Maxus Drago has reared his mighty head for all to see. Already Maxus Helios has been revealed and released, though you still can't get all the pieces in the US. Also the new Meta Altair has been discovered as another Bakugan combo. However, up until now there has been very little information about the Maxus Dragonoid Bakugan, and plenty of rumors about what he would look like and what Bakugan would combine to make him. Will it look something like what you'd see in Voltron or one of the Masterpiece Transformers?

Finally we have pictures and an explanation of him and what he is! Maxus Drago is made up of 6 Bakugan traps (Grakas Hound, Dark Hound, Grafias, Brachium, Spitarm, SpyderFencer) and, of course, 1 Neo Dragonoid Unique Evolved form of Neo Dragonoid (Thanks to Blaze and DaRkNeSs for spotting this). The six traps and Dragonoid Bakugan are unique and can't be found outside of this package. Each trap can be used individually in the game and has it's own unique abilities. The whole Maxus Dragonoid will retail for around $40. So far there is no official rules for how the Maxus Drago and Maxus Helios can be used in the game. Same goes for the Altair and Wired combination that we are offering in our new Bakugan contest. But no matter what, this is an awesome toy to own for any Bakugan Battle Brawling fan!

So I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks Mechanical Bakugan are just straight up awesome. Right...?? Right??!! In the cartoon Mira's father, Professor Clay, has been hard at work cooking up these artificial Bakugan in the lab and Lync and the other Vexos members have been battle testing them in the field. Using advanced Vestal science Mira's father has been able to create living mechanical bakugan who fold up into small spheres and react to the ability cards and gate cards.

Bakugan Altair

Altair is the first mechanical Bakugan to be produced by Professor Clay. Lync is the one who has been entrusted with his care and field testing. Perhaps that was a big mistake, if Lync is anything it is overconfident. He believes he can never be beaten and takes on challenges that are far greater than his is capable of handling. As a result, many times he pushes his mechanical Bakugan too far and Altair overheats or gets seriously damaged. Each time the mechanical monster is defeated though, Professor Clay collects the data and improves Altair that much more so that he can never be defeated the same way twice.

Altair is a flying Bakugan who has giant spinning discs in it's wings to lift it into the air. It has a state of the art tracking system in its eyes that track and target Bakugan. It's attacks are devastatingly powerful and will bring down all but the most powerful of Bakugan. The Resistance really has a challenge each time they take this guy on. The first time Lync battled with Altair, he pushed him too far and Altair's system overheated and the Bakugan collapsed in a cloud of steam. The Brawlers resistance won by default that time. The second time Lync battled with Altair was at the Bakugan Tournament. Shun and Ace worked together and discovered another weakness in Altair's programming: It had a hard time tracking multiple targets at the same time. So double teaming Altair with two weaker Bakugan was enough to score another win yet again for the Resistance.

Each time Altair is defeated, he becomes stronger and harder to defeat.

Bakugan Wired

Wired is the second mechanical Bakugan to be produced by Professor Clay. Wired was made to be a compliment to Altair in every way. Wired is just as fearsome as Altair. Where as Altair is a slow but monsterously powerful mechanical Bakugan, Wired is fast as lightning and attacks his enemies with his razor sharp talons. Lync uses Wired as a trap Bakugan, but from what we can tell in the game he's a normal warrior class Bakugan.

Combining Altair and Wired to Form Meta Altair

The true power of Wired and Altair is when Lync combines the two. Just like in the cartoon, you also can combine Altair and Wired into one Bakugan. The combination is called Meta Altair and they are super powerful with over 1000G points together, though as of yet there is no released rules that say why or what that does. The only instructions we could find of this combo was on Toywiz. The three steps to combine Altair and Wired as as follows:

Step 1: To connect Bakugan together open both completely including the feet.
Step 2: With Wired facing Altair's back, place the small prongs on Wired's feet into the slots located at rear of where Altair's feet close into.
Step 3: Once Wired's feet are connected to Altair's rear, bend Wired's head back and place Altair's yellow tail underneath what would be considered.

Today's featured Bakugan is Ace's partner Percival. You all know Ace already as the super cool Vestal who fights for the Bakugan Resistance. He's one of the top ranked bralwers in New Vestrioa, and he's more than a little arrogant. Him and Shun don't get along very well, he doesn't like Dan much either. But Ace and Percival share a special bond, they are perfect partners for each other in the battle to free the Bakugan.

Ace's Percival is a darkus attributed warrior who looks like a dragon monster. He's got huge horns and a giant black cape that lets him hover and hide in the shadows. When he unleashes his fury, he's got three heads that spout blasts of darkus energy to obliterate his opponents. His body is covered in armor plates and he is a mighty foe to face. Percival himself knows just how powerful he is and fights like a champion, often he gets in over his head and has to fight his way out of tough situations. But just like Drago and Dan, Percival and Ace thrive on competition and take on the best so that they can get better.

Percival's next evolution is Midnight Percival who has an even bigger cape to protect him and giant dragon heads on his shoulders that spout flames. He wields a giant sword that strikes fear into his enemies.

The latest evolution is Alpha Percival which just was released with the new Bakuglow series. The Bakuglow series of Bakugan was released just this week and sports 6-8 new Bakugan along with a new ability card. Stay tuned for an overview of the Bakuglow Bakugan in the coming few days. Alpha Percival is covered in even more spikes, and his sword is now double bladed so he can attack multiple enemies at the same time. He's a powerful force of darkus devastation, and the Resistance is fortunate to have such a powerful monster on their side!

Who wouldn't want to have a darkus Percival in their lineup? Especially if you are a darkus player his unique abilities are very powerful in directly attacking his enemies as well as disappearing into the shadows to make him almost impossible to hit.

This weeks Bakugan Spotlight is on Baron's partner Nemus! Nemus is a Haos Bakugan warrior who is a powerful force for light against the dark Vexos. Loyal to a fault, Nemus will do anything Baron asks of him, even if it's not in their best interests. He loves his master, and is passionate about fighting the evil Vestals who are enslaving them all in New Vestroia.

While Baron is just learning how to brawl like a champ, Nemus is always cool and in control. He is almost the exact opposite of Baron in that he doesn't rush into battles without thinking, he doesn't loose his temper easily, and is rarely brash in his use of power. They are great team mates since they each balance each other out very well.

Nemus is a beacon of light, a mighty warrior, and an egyptian king who uses his giant blade wings and enormous staff of light to destroy his enemies. Since Baron is a Haos Bakugan brawler, he uses many tricky tactics and often turns his enemies against themselves with powerful ability cards. Nemus comes in three different forms: Normal, Mega Nemus, and Deka Nemus!

Mega Nemus

Mega Nemus is the evolved form of Nemus. This evolved form is even more impressive with a beautiful crown of golden jewels that shoot beams of light to obliterate his enemies. Also his spear is even more powerful and is accompanied with two discs of light that slice as well as dice. His armor is highly resistant to most other attributes as well making him a very powerful warrior.

Deka Nemus

For a Haos fighter, having a Nemus in your arsenal is a powerful strategy. He has many unique abilities that make him a great addition to any White Bakugan lineup. What are your favorite Haos strategies and ability cards?

In greek mythology Helios is the god of the sun. He drove the flaming chariot of the sun across the sky, and around the earth every day pulled by four solar steeds named: Pyrios, Aeos, Aethon, and Phlegon.

In the Bakugan New Vestroia series, Viper Helios is the warrior Bakugan used by Spectra the leader of the Vexos, the most powerful Bakugan brawlers of all the Vestal peoples. Viper Helios is a powerful Dragonoid class Bakugan who is of the Pyrus attribute. He is confident in his skills, and even arrogant at times as the mightiest Pyrus Bakugan among the Vestals. He knows he is powerful, he has fought many battles and never lost, and lusts for more power just like his master Spectra.

What Spectra really wants is a mystery, he claims to serve his prince but at the same time has an agenda all his own. Those who want ultimate power are never satisfied with second place. Apparently, and this is just a rumor as far as we know, Helios next evolution is turning into a mechanical Bakugan that we have yet to see.

There are already a few different versions of Viper Helios Bakugan Toys that you can find on ebay. You can find the standard Viper Helios, the special edition rare Bronze Viper Helios from the Bakubronze series, and even a super cool tornado spin Helios Bakugan. His g-power is generally in the high 600 range, and he's a key part to the Maxus Helios 7 in 1 Bakugan. With so much G-power and some really powerful unique abilities he'd be a fine addition to any Bakugan lineup!

Spectra's Viper Helios Bakugan

You may or may not have heard the rumors about the giant 7-in-1 Maxus Bakugan that are being released as part of the new Bakubronze Bakugan. So far we know of two such Bakugan: Maxus Drago, and Maxus Helios. These awesome guys are comprised of six trap Bakugan and one Bakugan Ball (a Dragonoid or Helios from the Bakubronze series).

We haven't seen much on the internet about the Maxus Dragonoid yet. We know it's being presold on Amazon as on of our earlier posts showed, along with the Bakugan Gauntlet that holds your cards, has sound effects, has a battle calculator, and is just plain cool. But we do know how to construct a Maxus Helios.

Maxus Helios is comprised of 7 Bakugan:

• Helios (of course) - Head
• Klawger - Front Foot
• Scrapper - Front Foot
• Foxbat - Torso
• Fencer - Back Foot
• Leefram - Back Foot
• Spindle - Tail

Unfortunately, only about half of those Bakugan can be bought in North American retail stores, the rest will have to be bought on ebay. We found some auctions to check out if you want to see more Maxus Helios goodness. We don't know if you will be allowed to play it, or if it is just a cool side feature. You can buy them all together in an auction, or one by one as you get the money.

Maxus Drago is of course the ultimate form of Drago in the New Vestroia universe. He too is combined with six other traps to make one ultimate 7-in-1 Bakugan. The new Maxus Dragonoid Packs are out now, and they are retailing on eBay and in stores for around $40. These are totally awesome and feature these unique Bakugan traps:

As of now, there are no special boosts in g power or special abilities for combining the Maxus Bakugan together. The rules state that the traps can all be used alone, but you cannot combine them for any special effect. We think that soon this will be changing, but we'll have to wait and see.

Our Bakugan Of The Week is: Elfin and Dual Elfin!

In season 2 of Bakugan New Vestroia, Marucho has a new guardian who goes by the name of Elfin. Very helpful and incredibly loyal to Marucho, they make a great team. Elfin is one of the new special attack Bakugan, much the same way his old guardian Preyus was a special attack in in that he could change his attribute at will. A ton of strategies were opened up by using Preyus on the field, and he became one of the most popular Bakugan to have in a lineup.

Now though, Marucho has a new helper. Elfin is his new guardian, and he sports a super cool special attack too! His G Power changes each time you roll him. He has over 600 G Power as one of his possibilities! He's so stinking cool, but be sure you pack a ability card that lets you roll your Bakugan again if you don't like how his G power ends up, or one that turns the tables completely so that the lowest G Power wins! You never know what you'll get with an Elfin roll, he's one awesome Bakugan Toy!

But, if you thought the original Elfin was a cool bakugan, just wait until you see his evolved form: Dual Elfin! Just recently released as part of the Bakubronze Bakugan toy series. Now even more powerful, with the same G power change feature. You can get Dual Elfin to up to over 700 G power! Now that packs a punch!
